Daniel Baird Foundation
Turtle Medical are very proud of their long-standing partnership and support of the Daniel Baird Foundation. The Foundation was established after Daniel, 26, bled to death in Digbeth, Birmingham, in 2017. The Foundation was set up to raise awareness and encourage the use of public access bleed control kits. The Foundation was created out of utter tragedy, yet, the endless work by Lynne, Thomas, Holly, and their team has resulted in countless lives being saved and a national network of bleed control kits. Turtle Medical donates to the Daniel Baird Foundation for every bleed control kit and bleed control cabinet we sell to support their incredible work. So, not only are you buying a proven lifesaving piece of equipment, but you’re also helping to support the work of a vital charity.
The National Bleed Kit Network
Turtle Medical is proud to collaborate with The National Bleed Kit Network’s bleedmap.uk database by encouraging our customers to register their bleed kits. BleedMap maps kits across the country to raise awareness of their presence in local communities and highlight gaps in provision.
