Overview of the Power Heart G5 Defibrillator
Whether you are an experienced rescuer or a first-time responder, the Powerheart G5
external defibrillator (AED) provides a powerful combination of features that help rescuers provide
sudden cardiac arrest (SCA) victims with swift, effective, and life-saving aid.
Available as either a Semi-Automatic or a Fully Automatic Defibrillator. A Semi-Automatic Defibrillator has a shock button which requires the user to press to deliver the shock. A Automatic Defibrillator conducts a count down to automatically delivering the shock. Some users may feel uneasy about pressing a shock button in an Emergency, however, a semi-automatic will deliver the shock quicker as it does not require a count down. If you’re unsure which model to go with please do contact us.

The Rescue Ready indicator at the top of the Power Heart G5 Defibrillator makes it instantly clear that the Defibrillator is ready for us. This provides confidence every time you pass your defibrillator as well as providing a quick way for public defibrillator custodians to check their defibrillators.
The Power Heart G5 Defibrillator has the option to use Intellisense pads to provide feedback on the quality and depth of the CPR being carried out. It will instruct the user for optimum CPR as specified by the European Resuscitation Council. Whilst this isn’t required, it can provide more confidence to a user and more importantly result in better CPR being performed.
Semi-Automatic means that the Defibrillator requires the operator to ensure everyone is clear of the patient before pressing the shock button. A fully automatic defibrillator gives a count down before shocking, this can sometimes cause a small additional delay in the shock being delivered, however, can give more assurance to a first time user of a defibrillator.
