The Brayden manikin is a revolutionary training aid, offering affordable but effective real-time feedback on CPR, as well as providing a lifelike torso with well-defined anatomical landmarks. When CPR is performed the lungs will light to indicate this and encourage the trainee or provide negative feedback by flashing. Only when CPR has been correctly performed will the brain light up to indicate success.
Ventilation can be administered through mouth-to-mouth, pocket mask, or Bag Valve Mask (BVM), and the manikin exhibits realistic chest rise and lung compliance.
Brayden Pro
For an additional cost Brayden’s “Pro” model integrates with the Brayden Online training system. Linking the dummy to an iPad, or other device (via Chrome) allows not only real-time light-up feedback on the manikin but also a record of this feedback.
This data, which can be conveniently shown in graph format and exported (or imported) into other systems, is available at both an individual and organisation-wide level. The high degree of customisability in Brayden Online allows for easy integration into your Learning Management System.
Further possibilities include Virtual Classroom training which allows CPR training via livestream with integrated feedback on-screen for both trainee and instructor, allowing for clear an objective training.
But if you don’t need all that then the Brayden Pro still makes an excellent stand-alone trainer. A simple and reliable bluetooth connection to an iPad provides intuitive and easily understandable feedback via the free Brayden Online app.
