The Zoll AED Plus is unique in using “off the shelf” batteries, however, it is very important that the correct batteries are used, the defibrillator will not function correctly with any 123 type batteries.

A full set of 10 Duracell Lithium Ion Batteries (Type 123) as required for the Zoll AED Plus (semi-auto or fully auto defibrillator)
- 4-5 year expected lifespan
- Must be replaced all in one go
- Replace as soon as the defibrillator shows signs of low battery or the batteries reach 5 years old (whichever comes first)
It is very important the correct type and make of battery is used for the Zoll AED Plus Defibrillator - cheaper batteries will not work and may result in damage to the defibrillator. We only supply Duracell batteries as recommended by Zoll and supplied with the device as new. All 10 batteries must be replaced at the same time.
