  • Check the defibrillator regularly, especially in winter.

  • Monitor battery performance—batteries may drain faster in colder conditions.

  • Extreme cold? If temperatures drop significantly, consider temporarily storing the defibrillator indoors and notifying your local ambulance service of its availability.
