Compact, easy to use, lifesaving technology

Sudden Cardiac Arrest (SCA) is a leading cause of death globally. As response time is critical for survival, the use of an AED can increase the survival rate from 5% up to 70%, if used within the first few minutes of the SCA.

The Lifepak CR2 is designed especially for use in public areas by providing a sophisticated defibrillator for adult or paediatric use, inside a lightweight and easy-to -operate system.

Easy-to-follow guidelines

The Lifepak CR2 will turn on immediately after opening the lid. After analysing heart rhythm, the CR2 will advice the user to deliver a shock (if needed)

Suitable for use in loud environments. The voice prompts on the Lifepak CR2 USB are processed with proprietary Clear Voice technology, which uses very specific frequencies to enable the human ear to distinguish between background noises.

And the Lifepak CR2 USB has an automated volume adjustment feature that increases or decreases the volume of the prompts based on the noise level of the environment.

Designed for user confidence

User-friendly. Simple bold graphics, audible instructions and automated features help users remain focused. No complex displays that distract the responder’s attention from the patient. Prompts include the initial Basic Life Support Steps, such as advising the rescuer to check for breathing.

cprCOACH Feedback. The Lifepak CR2 USB provides CPR coaching on CPR technique and correct depth for adult and paediatric patients at appropriate times during the cardiac arrest response, including a metronome. It will also detect whether chest compressions are being performed and adjust the voice prompts, if needed, to help the responder resume CPR and provide the best possible care. Truly a Public Access Defibrillator.

Great for the kids

Paediatric mode. The Lifepak CR2 can be used on children under the age of 8yrs by simply pressing the paediatric mode switch. This is much better than a number of other AEDs which require a separate set of electrodes
